An animal-themed tasting for Zoo Lake

On 25 July, a fundraiser for the Zoo Lake in Johannesburg will be hosted by Marilyn Cooper of the Cape Wine Academy. Featuring a tasting of 'animal' wines, this fun and informative evening will be held at the Westcliff Hotel and entail the tasting of South African wines that feature animals on their labels. Leopard's Leap wines will be joined by Obikwa, Jordan Chameleon, Leopards Leap , de Wetshof Bateleur, Neethlingshof Caracal, Tall Horse, Vergenoegd Runner Duck and Flight of the Fish Eagle Brandy.

The tasting session will be accompanied by a discussion on wine storage and cellaring, food and wine pairing, and the new proposed alcohol laws.

Tickets are R125 per person and can be booked by phoning Penny or Nomsa at 011 447 8540 or emailing
