Beowulf sipping on Leopard’s Leap

Leopard’s Leap proudly sponsored this year’s British Independent Film Awards which took place last night, Wednesday 28th November, at the Roundhouse in London.

British film legends, Dame Judi Dench and Ray Winstone rubbed shoulders with James Bond star, Daniel Craig and toasted the talent of the British film industry with the Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc 2007 and Leap Pinotage Shiraz 2005.

Guests were treated to a three course menu complimented with the finest Leopard’s Leap wine, bursting with sophistication and style. In true film spirit, the stars discussed this year’s nominees and sipped the wine whilst on the edge of their seats awaiting the results.

The awards were a great opportunity to put Leopard’s Leap in the hands of the crème de la crème of the UK film industry and spark interest with influential A-listers. Living up to its name as the premium wine of South Africa, Leopard’s Leap is now firmly established as a favourite amongst film stars and wannabes alike.

Winners from the British Independent Film Awards included:

Best Independent British Film – Control
Best Actress – Judi Dench, Notes on a Scandal
The Richard Harris Award: Ray Winstone
