Leopard’s Leap Vineyards: An exciting future



Leopard's Leap has been in search of a 'home' for a while, and last year we purchased an estate next to La Motte Wine Estate in Franschhoek. Currently known as Mont Michelle, we are excited to build and establish Leopard's Leap Vineyards on the property. The existing structure will be changed extensively, and the new building will feature a tasting area, a restaurant, offices and other interesting spaces that will be revealed soon…

We are honoured to work with the architects from Makeka Design Lab on the project. Architect Mokena Makeka is well-known for his work on various cutting-edge projects in Cape Town and abroad, a lecturer at the UCT School of Architecture and the winner of the 2010 Johnny Walker Celebrating Strides in Design award. One of his most notable projects is the redesign of the Cape Town Station for the new public transport system.

The new space is slated to open in the first half of 2011.
