On behalf of La Motte and Leopard’s Leap Wines, our CEO, Hein Koegelenberg recently signed a memorandum of understanding with China’s famous Tsinghua University whereby La Motte and Leopard’s Leap be the South African base for the Tsinghua CEO Wine Club and will import La Motte and Leopard’s Leap wines to Tsinghua University CEO Wine Club. In the photo above Hein is signing the memorandum with Mr Tang Sam, Secretary General of Tsinghua University CEO Alumni Association. In the back row, from the left, are Mr Woo Swee Lian, President of Perfect (China) and our partner in the L’Huguenot wine export deal to China; former South African President Mr F.W. De Klerk; Professor Yang Jiaqing, Vice Chairman of Tsinghua University Education Foundation; Mr. Fu Mingzhi, Deputy Director of Tsinghua University Training Center of Professional Managers.
