Some South African authors and publishers were already in London before the volcanic ash cloud closed down European airspace and prevented the majority of South African authors and publishers from traveling to the London Book Fair 2010. Some of those who made it to the book fair were South African authors Deon Meyer, Andre Brink and Henrietta Rose-Innes. Leopard’s Leap was also there sponsoring the South African market focus.
