Seventeen South African wines have been included in respected UK wine writer Matthew Jukes The Wine List 2007, The Top 250 Wines of the Year and Leopard’s Leap The Lookour White 2006 was right there among them.

South African Wine writes that “The New World claimed 131 positions in Jukes’s line-up, with Australia seizing 86 spots, New Zealand 5 and South America 18, with California referred to as ‘making waves again, at all price points’.”

South Africa, Jukes writes, ‘wins new places thanks to an ever-improving attitude and the ageing of their finest vineyards.’"

This is great news for us and follows other accolades that our wines have been receiving lately. In a nutshell, Leopard’s Leap is being recognized as an exceptional wine that is surprisingly affordable. Or as we like to say, affordable luxury.
