Welcome to Our Blog



Welcome to the official blog of Leopard’s Leap, a global wine brand based in the beautiful town of Franschhoek in South Africa’s Cape winelands.

We – Hein Koegelenberg, managing director of Leopard’s Leap, and Eugene van Zyl, master winemaker – hope this blog will give some insight into Leopard’s Leap, the extraordinary Cape winelands where it gets its character, as well as the wonderful company that it keeps around the world.

As many of you will know the global wine industry is a place full of change and we plan to share our observations and insight with you. We will be joined on the blog by our global brand manager Johan van der Westhuysen and our South African brand manager Henniel Smit.
