Leopard’s Leap sponsors Die Burger Boekklub



Next Friday, 17 August, will see Leopard’s Leap Wines sponsoring it’s first Boekklub lunch, hosted by the regional daily newspaper, Die Burger. The event, will feature local author Nanette van Rooyen, speaking about her latest novel, Chinchilla, and will be held at Piatto Restaurant at Willowbridge Mall in Durbanville, at 12pm.

Die Burger book-loving readers were treated to flowing Leopard’s Leap, while being introduced to the brand by multi-award-winning winemaker, Eugene Van Zyl, who offered the following pairing suggestions:

Starter – Lookout Red
Camembert Cheese
Deep Fried to perfection, served with Cranberry Sauce
and topped with Rocket

Main Course – Chenin Blanc
Chicken Breasts Marsala
Pan seared chicken breasts, flamed in marsala wine, tossed in a creamy mushroom sauce, served on a bed of buttered linguine
or
Calamari
Lightly grilled in our famous lemon butter sauce

Dessert
Chardonnay Fig & Honey Sorbet
