Avocadabra – true culinary magic!

Avo’s are full of naturally good fats, they are gluten free, vegan-friendly and with their creamy texture can easily substitute dairy for lactose sensitivities. Read more.

No wonder then that the trendiest of food cities, New York, has just seen the opening of an Avocado Bar! Avocaderia does not only offer a whole new take on the take-away with a mobile app for orders, it also offers a truly healthy alternative to fast food – all incorporating avocado as a main ingredient!

Traditionally popular in Mexican and South American cuisine, avocado’s are a go-to in households across the globe and are a favourite ingredient for salads, sides and sandwiches. Why? They are versatile and delicious!

In tune with our October Vegan Cooking Classes and with the delight of Spring and the lighter way of living and eating associated with it, Chef Pieter shares a recipe for a delicious Avocado, goat’s cheese and broccolini salad that will also be available from the Harvest Table at the Leopard’s Leap Rotisserie.

Did you know? Avocado’s are also known as alligator pears or butter fruit!
