This year, we are joined by Weber to go all out in celebrating South Africa’s national pastime and an inherent part of our heritage – the braai.
On what has become known as National Braai Day on 24 September, together with the enthusiastic Weber team, we will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy their favourite way of cooking, spend some quality time with friends and family and to unwind with their choice of Leopard’s Leap wine, all while learning more about braai-ing on a Weber.
Braai enthusiasts are invited to bring family and friends and join the special Braai Day lunch when five different meats will be cooked – whole chicken, whole rump, pork belly, lamb and fish – all on Webers. Delicious side dishes and salads will be available from the Leopard’s Leap Harvest Table.
Weber experts such as South Africa’s unofficial Mrs. Weber, Shirley Guy, will demonstrate how to use these special braai and cooking units to their maximum potential (and sneak in a taster or two!) and will be on hand to answer questions and give personal advice. Do not miss the fish in a salt crust – a real show stopper!
Our rolling lawns allow plenty of room for kids to explore and have fun while Mom and Dad sit down and enjoy their meal so guests are encouraged to bring the kids and make a day of it.
