100 ml Leopard’s Leap Chardonnay
25 ml Cinzano Bianco
10 ml lime juice
25 ml apple cinnamon syrup (see recipe below) Crushed ice
Apple cinnamon syrup
500 ml boiling water
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
100 ml sugar
Bring the water to the boil in a pot. Place the apple slices in the water together with the cinnamon sticks. Boil for 20 minutes or until apple slices are soft, then remove slices and cinnamon sticks, but do not discard. Add the sugar. Boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat to cool. Put apple slices and cinnamon sticks back into the mixture to infuse cinnamon syrup.
Cinnamon sugar and three thinly sliced apple half-moons.
Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Margarita glass, with crushed ice.
