Leopard’s Leap Big Bite Sandwich



After the decadence of our festive meals there are always some delicious leftover cold cults which when assembled in our take on the Club Sandwich, turns into a easy, hunger-busting and fabulous sandwich.

Replace the meat in the below recipe for whatever you have available, almost anything will work.

Ingredients:

3 slices of bread

½ tbsp mayonnaise

Salad leaves

½ dill cucumber, sliced

3 thin slices pork belly

½ tbsp sweet chilli sauce

½ tomato, thinly sliced

Some left-over chicken

½ tbsp chutney

 

Toast the slices of bread

Start your first layer: slice of bread/mayonnaise/salad leaves/sliced dill cucumber/pork belly/sweet chilli sauce

Now add another slice of bread followed by chutney/salad leaves/tomato/chicken/mayonnaise

Finish off with your final slice of bread.

And now, sit back with a chilled glass of Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc and take a big bite. When the leftovers have run out, join us on the stoep at Leopard’s Leap for a Big Bite Sandwich with some baby potatoes and tomato sauce for only R65.
