Ideal for New Year’s Eve! Mix this sophisticated Chenin Blanc Martini!
100 ml Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc
25 ml Cinzano
25 ml Martini Rosso
25 ml thyme-infused syrup (see recipe below)
250 ml sugar
100 ml water
125 ml fresh thyme
Add the 100 ml of sugar to the water and boil
mixture for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Combine the
remaining sugar and herbs in a food processor. Pulse until herbs are finely
ground. Use immediately.Warm a small pot. Pour sugar-water and herb-sugar blend
into pot and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Makes 1
cup of syrup.
