If you needed a day for it – here it is… Drink Wine Day

So, Dry January has left you deflated, you need to get over your Valentine disappointment and you desperately need Pay Day to arrive…

There is light at the end of the tunnel!

18 February is Drink Wine Day in the USA! Living anywhere else in the world? No problem, have you not heard of the Global Village?!

So, if you ever needed a reason…

Not that drowning your sorrows should be the (only) reason why you enjoy a glass of wine or two…

And that is exactly why Drink Wine Day exist! “The purpose of Drink Wine Day is to spread the love and health benefits of wine.  Wine has played an important role in history, religion and relationships.  We embrace the positive benefits of wine such as new friends, reduced risk of heart disease and the enhancement of food and life.”

That sounds like plenty of reasons to open your favourite bottle! And if you need us to spell it out, trust Winefolly to always have the best list!

  1. You need a serving of fruit everyday.
  2. Because beyond college, Master’s and Ph.D., this might just be the last tier of a higher education.
  3. You were going to give it as a gift, but decided to keep it for yourself.
  4. Some people find violet-stained teeth inexplicably attractive.
  5. Because people look at you funny when you sniff, swirl, and slurp a glass of milk
  6. How else can you justify using words like supple, brawny, fleshy, and gripping.
  7. It pairs well with…well, everything.
  8. How else are you going to finish that wine-cork Pinterest craft?
  9. You just learned how to properly pronounce Gah-vurz-tra-meener…even though you still can’t spell it.
  10. Mimosas are an acceptable breakfast food.
  11. The recipe calls for 2 TB of white wine and you don’t believe in wastefulness.

And as for our addition to the list: By drinking wine – especially Leopard’s Leap wine of course – you keep us employed and able to make a living. We also guarantee that a glass of wine will result in more fun, better tasting food and sexier selfies!

You won’t regret it, join us and celebrate Drink Wine Day!
