TAKING A LITERARY LEAP
Leopard’s Leap has always been synonymous with outstanding literature and the exciting South African book community. We have been sponsoring many book launches, including those at book lovers’ havens The Book Lounge and Kalk Bay Books, both in Cape Town. Furthermore, we have been working with the best publishers to make sure that authors and readers have a glass of Leopard’s Leap in hand when discussing a new title at a launch or an event.
We are thus very excited to announce that Leopard’s Leap is the official wine sponsor of the London Book Fair, which is being held at Earl’s Court in London from 19 to 21 April 2010. Since 2010 is South Africa’s year in the spotlight, the organisers have deemed it fit to make this year’s focus South Africa, thereby giving the 6000 attending industry professionals the opportunity to engage with South African literature and authors.
Some of South Africa’s most esteemed writers are slated to attend and take part in the 200 seminars being held.
We are privileged to be part of an event that promotes our country’s world-class literature and will be updating our blog and Twitter frequently before and during the Fair to bring you a first-page look of what authors and audiences are saying, doing and drinking (Leopard’s Leap, of course!).
