Sharing the diversity that is south african food and Wine

Leopards Leap Family Vineyards invites visitors to experience the diversity of South African food and wine with its Taste South Africa offering,
including a wine tasting, braaibroodjie, and other local dishes.

Please note that the Leopard’s Leap Rotisserie Restaurant and restaurant experiences will be closed for a Winter Break form 10 June 2024. We’ll be back - all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed - on 4 July 2024. Please note that the Wine Tasting Room and Shop will continue to operate as usual.

Visitors can now experience a more inclusive celebration of South Africa's diversity at Leopard's Leap Family Vineyards.

Taste South Africa at Leopard's Leap offers a variety of experiences, including a South African Wine Tasting, a South African Food & Wine Experience, and a Roosterkoek menu. Guests can sample iconic South African dishes and wines, and learn about the country's diverse culinary traditions.

The South African Table

Experience the diversity of South African cuisine and wine at Leopard's Leap, with Chef Christiaan Visser and a Wine Tasting Ambassador.

Enjoy a three-course meal with typical food styles, ingredients, and wine from South Africa, while learning about the rich culinary tradition.

The SA Wine Tasting

Presented by one of the passionate Wine Tasting Ambassadors, guests are invited to enjoy examples of stalwart South African wines – Chenin Blanc and Pinotage in a variety of styles - and one of South Africa’s most iconic dishes – the braaibroodjie!

The SA Food & Wine Experience

Exclusively hosted in a private tasting area, the SA Food & Wine Experience is presented by one of the Leopard’s Leap Wine Tasting Ambassadors. The wine tasting includes three examples of Chenin Blanc as well as South Africa’s claim to fame, Pinotage.

Accompanied by examples of typical South African cuisine types that represent various cultures and regions, introducing highlights from the South African culinary scene with a discussion on the diversity of local ingredients and recipes.
