FORBES NAMES CAPE TOWN ONE OF MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES
Forbes magazine has named its most beautiful cities in the world, and Cape Town joins the likes of Venice, Tokyo, New York City and San Francisco as one of the planet’s most stunning metropolises. The list was compiled by a panel of experts that included some of the world’s top architects and urban planners. Cape Town is the only African city on the covetable list, as well as the only city from a developing nation. The Mother City’s open spaces and small ecological footprint impressed the magazine, and the new infrastructure built for the upcoming FIFA World Cup also adds to the city’s allure as a must-see destination.
