LEOPARDS SPOTTED IN FRANSCHHOEK MOUNTAINS
The Cape Mountain Leopards Leopard's Leap have adopted through the NGO the Cape Leopard Trust, have been spotted in the Wemmershoek Mountains.
On 7 and 17 Augustus respectively, cameras caught the male BM4 and female BF1 walking past. The cameras also spotted other mammals, including baboons, African wildcats, genets, and a grey mongoose.
The Cape Leopard Trust aims to optimally facilitate conservation of the Cape's predator diversity through simultaneously implementing conservation strategies, research projects and tourism initiatives.
