ONE’S OWN BARREL OF COTIE ROTIE
Our CEO, Hein Koegelenberg, and winemaker Eugene van Zyl is currently touring the Rhone valley in France. They spent two hours tasting with Bernard Guraud, one of the best Cote Rotie Shiraz producers. The tasting led them to identifying tasting one barrel that they believe to be a classic Cote Rotie. It is a 2010 wine, and will remain in the barrel until the end of next year when it will be bottled and shipped to South Africa.
