FRANSCHHOEK FOOD & WINE EXPERIENCE WORTHY OF A KLINK!

FRANSCHHOEK FOOD & WINE EXPERIENCE WORTHY OF A KLINK!

Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards has brought a new interpretation to the Franschhoek Valley culinary scene. Amongst all the fine-dining establishments of South Africa’s Gourmet Capital, the Leopard’s Leap offering is informal and relaxed and offers a delightful, wholesome and novel food-and-wine experience focussing on uncomplicated, fresh and season food, full of flavour and beautifully complemented by its popular wine portfolio.

“We are very excited about this successful addition to the Franschhoek food offering”, says Leopard’s Leap CEO Hein Koegelenberg. “To us, family is very important and we wanted to have an option where one can enjoy quality food and wine in a laid-back and child-friendly environment.”

Laid-back lunches and hands-on kitchen action

Rotisserie-based lunches with tender and juicy meats from the state-of-the-art spit, are complemented by an array of farm baked breads as well as a beautiful selection of side dishes such as seasonal salads and roasted vegetables sourced from the vegetable and herb garden on the farm. Dessert offers a tempting choice of individual portions such as cake lollies, baked mini-cheesecakes and baby meringues.

Bursting with energy and inspiration, Chef Pieter de Jager ensures guests are bowled over by the beautiful flavours from the rotisserie as well as decadent pastries, cakes and take-home meals.  He also presents a programme of Cooking Classes for passionate home cooks who would like to fine-tune their culinary skills or extend their culinary repertoire.
